I woke up at 5:00 am and took off my pump. Woohoo! I'm so excited to be done with it. I'm drinking red raspberry leaf tea in hopes that it'll help my contractions along. I know it won't throw me into labor itself, but am hoping it'll do something for the contractions I do have. I'm not having too many more than I would at this time of day with the pump, but I always get a lot more as the day goes on. The ones I am having are irregular, but are more intense already
I really don't think I'll go into labor today, but I'm hoping to have the girls by Thursday. I think I'll be really angry if I wake up on Friday without my babies

Woohoo! Yeah for no more of the terbutaline!!!! What was the outcome of the vaginal birth discussion with your doctor? I don't think I ever read a follow-up. I hope your sweet little girls will be able to ring in the weekend with you!

Thanks everyone.
My doctor will not let me deliver vaginally unless B flips. I've been going to the chiropractor 3 times per week to try to get her to flip. They definitely have a lot more room to move around since I started. She has room to flip, but just won't. My birth plan right now is to get them out Honestly though, I'm afraid of having one vaginally and then needing a csection for B. That happens and is more likely to happen with a first time mom. Our abs aren't as stretched out and our cervix can easily start to close after the first baby is born. B could present breech if I'm lucky, if not, she could present with an arm, leg, umbilical cord or just about anything else first. Since she's bigger than A, my doctor refuses to try to deliver her breech. I'm okay with that. I'd rather have a planned csection than an emergency one.
I don't have anyone updating. I figure I'll probably have my laptop at the hospital and will update when I feel up to it. I know I'm not any more likely to update via the phone. DH wants my laptop at the hospital since our video camera only has like an hour worth of memory and he wants to be able to download the videos if we need to.

okay... so I am just going to freak out with excitement! yay for no pump! I hope your girlies get here by Fri! YAY YAY YAY!!
And I SO agree with you. Better a planned C-section then an emergency one. Mine didn't go all that great and I'm STILL glad I had one! The girls were so tiny..as you'll soon see!!
OMG KUP for goodness sake!

I think your birth plan sounds well thought-out and the absolute safest option for your girls. I am so glad that you feel okay with it and are going into the situation at peace. Come on, girls! We want to meet you!!!

I'm having a ton of contractions They aren't painful, but they are getting more consistant. I should probably move from where I am and see if that stops them. They are only lasting about 50 seconds each, but are about 3.5 minutes apart. That's an average because I can have to back to back and not get another for 5 minutes. I probably should think about calling my doctor in a while, but I totally feel like they should be more uncomfortable before I call. I just feel like it's irritation from not being on the pump. That or I'm in denial. I honestly don't feel like it's labor yet.
