I hope you don't mind me posting this here but i thought you ladies would be able to help me out best. I was wondering if DTD feels different when pregnant? I know i've heard women say it doesn't feel the same and can even be painful. Have you experienced this and if so how far along were you when it started?

The past few times we've DTD it's really uncomfortable and feels weird. It even has a slight burning feeling. It's a little hard to describe but it just feels different than usual and is not enjoyable for me at all. It's probably something completely unrelated to pregnancy since i doubt i'm currently pregnant, but i thought it was worth asking. Thanks!

Well for me it's often a bit painful. I spoke to my doc about it and she suggested seeing a physical therapist to help open it up down there. I didn't go I thought it was WAY too embarassing. The OBgyn said that for me having a vaginal birth could also help. Otherwise maybe you just need a little lubricant to help out....... I know for us this helps. I haven't used it since I've gotten pregnant though because I wanted to check with my doctor first but I keep forgetting to ask her. Sometimes being stressed or not being in the mood to can make it less enjoyable......

yes, DTD was very uncomfortable for me for the first trimester but my doc said it was because I had an enlarged and low uterus due to the twins. I'd be interested to hear what others say... (and btw, your temps looks great!! don't give up hope yet!)

Sex actually felt great for me the first trimester and starting recently it's become very uncomfortable and even burning. I have to make sure we use plenty of lube (which we never used before) for it to be tolerable. I know changes in your uterus can affect how sex feels. Good luck girl! I hope this is IT for you!

I wish I could tell you, but DH has been out of town for most of the first tri- I have only DTD once since he left, when he came home for a brief weekend visit! I do know my pelvic exams have been far more uncomfortable than normal.

Bo refused to DTD for weeks after I got my bfp. He was being a typical guy, and was scared of "hurting" the baby. I finally convinced him and I have to admit that it hurt more than usual. It's still pretty uncomfortable, but we just load up on the lube and it helps a lot. I REALLY hope this is it for you girl!

Yep, it definitely feels different. I wouldn't say burning or anything but I feel different. I didn't start feeling that way until late in my first or into my second trimester.

Just wanted to wish you good luck, your chart looks great! It was uncomfy for me until the 2nd trimester.
