So far I can't live without my boppy and swaddling blankets! I know a lot of people don't like the boppy and usually don't use it except for tummy time later on. I love mine. I use it pretty much every time I hold her and especially for BF. It might be one of those love it or hate it things but I absolutely love mine. I also love my swaddling blankets...I have a koala one that is ok but my favorite is the halo sleep sack swaddler. I love it for night time especially because I know she won't wiggle out of it and I don't have to worry about the blanket being around her face. She also likes to have her hands by her face and I can swaddle her in it so that her hands are out (arms tucked in but just hands out) and she loves it.
So far those are my favorite things that have made things so much easier and more comfortable for me.
As far as an update...BF is going so well now! All it took was for my milk to come in and she perked up and took to it. I know I freaked out a little soon but it was so hard those first days knowing she needed to eat and I had nothing to offer her. It is much better now and I look forward to feeding her instead of dreading it. My sister has been a big help too since she BF her two boys. Tomorrow is her first Dr appt...I will update when I can!! Hopefully her weight is good...that is my only concern. I think it should be since she has fed well for the last two days so we will see.

April, I loved the boppy too. Not just for BF, but to hold her secure while I ran to the bathroom at times too. I've tried tummy time with her and she absolutely HATES being on her belly. As for swaddle blankets, I really wish I had bought some good ones earlier on. I had two hand me down Swaddle Me blankets and she totally wiggles out of them within 2 minutes. Recieving blankets are just not big enough either. So needless to say she doesn't get swaddled.
I am glad that BF is going so well. I think most Mom's are nervous as to when their milk is going to come in.

I just registered yesterday and am still adding things. I put on one miracle blanket, but I'll put the Halo one on too (I had the boppy and 2 covers). I'm glad it's going well!

Im SO glad to hear that BF is going good now. I knew it would get better for you! I think those two items will be a favorite of mine one day also, I just love the thought of them and knowing how helpful they can be.

I´m glad BF is going well, the first 3 days were awful here too, then all of a sudden there was milk (and a contented little baby!!). Milk is the best invention ever!!
I never had a boppy and havent missed it, but Ana is a milk monster and feeds happily even walking round the house!!. I had a swaddle me and she couldnt escape, (once I started to put it on backwards, else she was out in 5 seconds). Now she even escapes from the bumbo!!

I'm so happy to hear BF is going well now.
I received a boppy at my shower so it's a relief to hear a positive review - I really hope I like it. I hadn't thought about a halo or other swaddle blanket but I think I'll look into them now. Thanks for the tip!
