Alright ladies if you remember i had a bunch of bleeding yesterday and was going to go to the ER today to find out if my little one still had a heartbeat if the bleeding was still bad today. Well, theres hardly anything now! Should i still go? What if it waas just irritated from the u/s then going to get another one could make it happen all over again? AHHHH i can't decide what to do!

Hey sweetie! Go with your gut feeling! if you think that's all it was then maybe wait and see, but if anything returns, I would go right away! I'm no expert, but that's what I would do! HTH You're in my T&P's!!!

Personally I wouldn't go, but that's just me. The fact that it stopped (and you saw the HB 2 days ago) is wonderful and hopefully great news. And it's not like the ER can do anything except confirm, but if that's what you're looking for, that's up to you.

I called the doc to see if i could just go get a regular u/s instead of going to the ER and they said no, and basically told me it would be a bad idea to go get another one. I could hear a HB but it wouldnt show any growth in two days so that wouldnt really help to tell anyone if the baby is viable even if it does still have a HB if that makes sense. As far as the bleeding, its lessened a TON and at this point is maybe nickle size spots on the TP (not even enough to tint the toilet water red or anything).

So, i guess i'm just left waiting it out until Tuesday The nurse said the bleeding COULD have been from the U/S so i dont really want to get another one at the ER if that could cause more bleeding. I'm pretty depressed and i'm trying to convince myself of the worst so i wont be dissapointed if it hasnt grown or doesnt have a HB when i go in. But, at the same time I did just have a m/c and never at any point during that time did the bleeding lessen up like right now, so its really hard.

I'm sorry you have to go through all this stress! Try to just relax and keep your feet up. There is nothing you can think or do that will change the outcome so only time can tell. I know it's hard to wait it out but keeping positive will help you. Try to do something you enjoy to put your mind off of things........... I know it's hard!

I am glad it is slowing down! If I were you though I would take it easy this weekend when your friends visit. Even if the bleeding was just normal first tri bleeding doing a lot might make it worse and worry you more and if it isn't normal you dont want to irritate anything further.

Sorry you have to wait Sam! I do have a feeling that everything is going to be okay and you have a very sticky bean that just had to snuggle in a bit more! Hang in there!

I also bled during my pregnancy - at 6 wks and at 10 wks. The bleeding at 6 weeks was heavy - it was like AF and then some. I even passed some clots. But we went into the ER and saw a HB and, a week or two later, I went to my regular OB and he confirmed that there still was a HB.

I think it's great that you saw a HB a few days ago and I wouldn't recommend going in. You don't want to cause any more bleeding. When is your next appt with your OB? I'm sure they'll give you another US then. Just try to keep your feet up and avoid stairs as much as possible. And keep yourself hydrated. (That's what I was told with my "threatened miscarriage.")

Crossing my fingers and hoping that your bean is a sticky one!

Thinking of you Sam! I'm also playing the waiting game. At 10w5d I had brown discharge with no cramping so I went to Emerg and they did an U/S and we saw baby's heartbeat. The discharge went away for 4 days and then came back for 2 days. I hear you though, it's like you want to know either way so you can deal with whatever it is, it's hard being in limbo. I feel like I can't even enjoy my pregnancy right now and continue to be excited because I don't know what's going on. Again, thinking of you and keep us updated. *HUGS*

Sam, I really hope everything turns out okay. I hate that you have to be on pins and needles till your next appointment. I had bleeding really early up until 10 weeks. Your cervix is very sensitive right now and a vag u/s and sex can cause bleeding. I'm betting it was just the u/s and hope I'm right. Big, big hugs!
