Ladies, for a couple of days now I have been having very sharp pains in what feels to me like my cervix area. Its like a strong pressure feeling/sharp pain like if its opening or something is going on.

Should I worry or is that a common thing to feel?

I have felt it for 2 days already, it comes and goes, and it def. hurts when it comes. I have been very uncomfortable too.

It feels wierd cuz I feel like a pain in my uterus area then I feel the pain down there like inside my vaginal area.

What do you ladies think?

Hmmm, that's strange. I think I felt those pains too but it was MUCH later in my pregnancy. If it's been two days, I would call the doc and see what they have to say. Especially with twins - I just don' tknow. Hope all is well!

Im not sure what that could be. sounds really very annoying though! whens your next appointment? could you ring your doc and mention it to see what they say? If its making you uncomfy i would think its worth letting someone now and seeing if theyare able to tell you what it is.

Can't hurt to call your doc. I had similar pains pretty early too. I think some of it is from growing quicker with multiples. For a large part of my pregnancy, I felt like I'd gone on a super long bike ride. Ouch! It's interesting how many different things you feel during pregnancy.

I have had similar pains off and on and was told that it is just my uterus stretching, but you can always call the doc and say you are really concerned by it and be checked out. You will feel better about it if a doc tells you everything will be ok.

I've had pain when my LO hits my bladder and cervix, it can be quite painful and intense at times. I didn't really start feeling it until after 18 or 19 weeks though - but since you're having twins maybe you can feel it sooner. Nonetheless, I'd definitely ask the doctor about it, it would make me feel better to discuss it with my doctor.

Send a message via ICQ to BabyBird
Does it feel like one of your babies has a sharp pencil and is stabbing you from the inside? If so I had that too! It started a little later though but you might feel certain things earlier because of two babies in there.
