Cel's post got me thinking - do you have any nicknames for your already or yet-to-be born baby/ies? We call Amelia pea pod or pea for short. I have no idea why, but it started in the hospital and just stuck. I've been trying to use her actual name more lately, though, so she can start to recognize that instead of pea.

No nicknames yet, but I'm guessing that after birth baby will end up with the same nicknames as my kitties share...pumpkin, peanut, jelly bean, and monkey. Those are the things my mom called me when I was little, so now that's what I end up calling every cute little child or animal I spend a lot of time with.

I call Arya Stinkarella because we had to give her some formula and it made her poo really smelly. Besides that we just use common things like princess and sweety. I'm sure they'll end up with a few more real ones given time. We picked their first names so they couldn't be shortened as I don't like when people automatically shorten my name to Val.

Mushy is the main one. That started when she was a newborn & she used to mush her face into our shoulder when she got tired & sometimes even our faces. Also because of her chubby, soft, totally kissable cheeks that just look so... mushy! Derivatives of that have included Mush, Miss Mushy, & Mush Master LOL.
Sometimes I'll call her Bee Bop, Sweet Pea, Baby & other ones I can't think of right now b/c I haven't slept in 2 days
My mom used to call her Bobble b/c when she was real small & didn't have head control yet, her head used to be all over the place like a Bobble head. Poor thing.
I want to start calling her Alexandra more b/c even Allie is a NN & honestly, I'm starting not to care for it...it was DH's & my compromise between Alex (my choice) & Lexi (his choice). I definitely don't want her thinking her name is Mushy though!

Ana gets called Ana Banana, Anabel, Anabelini, milk monster, Anita, stumpy (from when her belly button infected), brivit.
I usually call her Anbelini or Belini and when shes fussing brivit. Her daddy calls her princesa.
