Ana was 5 months old last week and she is 68cm long (87th centile) and only 12lb5 (9th-11th centile). Her weight/height ratio is less than 3. Her Dr referred us to the hospital for some testing as she has been borderline weightgain for 2 months now. They analysed my milk and its fine, and then we did a whole day of weight controlled feedings, weighing her before and after a feeding over a whole day to see if she is eating well, this turned out fine too. Now they are doing bloodwork and ruling out metabolism defects. She has to have a special cereal mixed with bm in the morning and evening and fruit/veggie to help keep her pooping right. They are trying to find the reason for the weightloss.
On a happier note, she can now sit unaided, get up on all fours and crawl backwards!!, she also tries to sit from an all fours position, but that ends in nosedives. She is sleeping 10.5 hours solidly a night and is a little coiled spring, she escapes from her bumbo and pulls at her harness buckle on the pushchair to get out!! My camera is in England, so I have to upload some from the internet later. These photos are from 4.5 months, but sheŽs not any bigger now
This is Ana desperate to crawl away from the photo shoot!
Looking on her best behaviour
Cheeky monster in the door bouncer!
