my 37 week appt today :) (x-posted)

well, i had my 37 week appt this morning. my blood pressure is great, weight is great (well im fat but still have only gained like 2 lbs), babys heartrate was wonderful, my strep b was negative, she said babys weight is good but i have lot of fluid which is why im measuring big.

they asked if i wanted checked and of course i say yes. she asked if i was having any contractions i said no but ive been a bit crampy and she checked me and i am 1cm dialated!!! it also looked like she typed i was 50% effaced in her computer.

she said if i dialate 1cm for the next couple weeks i should go close to my due date and not really overdue, like she had origionally thought! so thats great news too!!

we next appt is next friday at 7am, but i will see a different doctor because mine is on her honeymoon this coming week. i also have to go in mon at 1035 to get the flu shot. my doctor pretty much said i need to get it because i work around kids all day everyday. thats fine with me. i dont usually get it but i usually get the flu at least once a year and i dont want it with a baby. so it work out.

i also have my 39 week appt scheduled for thrusday the 24th. they wanted to set it up early so i could make it with my regular doctor instead.

so thats where im at now!! i figured i had some progress with the cramping and pressure!

ETA: baby is still head down!! my doctor said shes sure she wont move!! yay!!
