For the btdt mommies who EBF, do any of you have AF yet? If so how long did it take for her to "visit."

Hollie - I've been meaning to tell you that I love your new siggy!!!
Anyway, I started bleeding about 8 weeks PP which really sucked...I'm not sure if it was AF or not, but just sucked! Then I got Mirena put in and haven't stopped bleeding since...UGH it's sooooo frustrating. Just went to the doc today to have it checked and she said I would bleed/spot for the first 3 months!!!!! When I started bleeding at 8 weeks PP I was so angry because I thought one of the benefits of BFing was no AF...not happy!!!! Has AF visited you yet? I've known some people that don't get it at all while BFing so hopefully you will be one of the lucky ones!!!

This is way crazy, but just after I posted my question (sorry for the TMI) but I went to the ladies room and I think she just barely came back. I was actually just asking because I didn't have her yet. Maybe I jinxed myself. I'm not totally bummed, though, because we want to TTC again in a few months so I was hoping that I wouldn't have to wait until I stop BFing because I plan on doing that for the first year. We'll see. Weird!
That really stinks though that you've been bleeding since you had the Mirena put in. I'm glad you went back to get it checked out. That would scare me, too. I can't believe they said it could last up to three months! What a pain!
Oh, and thank you about my siggy! It's about time that I got around to getting a new one. This is my first one since Amelia was born!

Cute siggie Hollie
I got my first AF when Zane was 7 months old. I had a bit of spotting at 6 months PP, but I'm not counting that, because there was no true flow, just very light random spotting, I'm pretty sure it was ovulation spotting or something because that would calculate almost right for when the flow showed up.

I love the new siggy Hollie!
And Gwen, I hope the bleeding stops soon! I know I bled on and off when I girst got the Mirena, but over time it was wayyy worth it. I hope the same proves true for you!

Thanks Erin. I'm hoping it's worth it because this bleeding is just down right annoying!!!

I´m 23 wks (5.5 months) pp and no sign of AF here yet, I have been getting more CM recently so I am half expecting her, especially since I´ve started Ana on cereals. However I have to pump before I feed so maybe that will fool her into staying away a bit longer.

It took me about 14 weeks to get AF, but I bled PP for about 7 weeks off and on. I've never had regular periods, and they seem to not be regular now either since I was spotting a bit again yesterday. Darn AF

I have had spotting since 8 wks... every month. As to whether or not that is AF I am not sure, but it feels like it.

This is one huge frustration for me! I cannot tell you for sure, because I keep having random bouts of spotting that last for a day or so and then disappear. Elliott is 7 1/2 months old and I only BF two times per day, so I keep expecting AF at any time. I just wanna know already! AF had regulated to a 38-day cycle before getting pg, but was irregular before that. . .ugh.

Well, Camryn is currently almost 17 weeks, and I still have no signs of AF. I have had some minor pinching/ twinges/ camping the past couple of weeks, but no increased CM or anything. I'm still BF'ing or pumping every 3-4 hours though, so hopefully she stays away a while longer. Its nice not having to worry about that too! lol
