We went to the specialist for her blood/stool sample results.
The blood work is clear so its nothing majorly serious thank god. But her stool sample analysis shows a high level of non absorbed/difested fat, they showed us what to look for and its like white, waxy deposits. They said its an enzyme deficiency.
The treatment is to express 2oz milk morning and evening and add the fortified cereal with the enzyme to it. (This is the cereal gloop they prescribed her 2 weeks ago, her Dr thought it was this after inspecting her nappy, but had to wait for the tests and the enzyme is not harmful in excess so he started it then). I also have to try to remember to pump an Oz off before I feed her each time to up the fat content in what she gets.
She is up to almost 13.5lb now and I no longer have to give her the biscuits or orange juice. If we manage to get up to 15lb by 6 months (4th October) we can cut back to 1 feeding a day and start with the fruit/veggies as normal. (already started with a few things, but Dr says thats fine).
As usual I made a mountain out of a molehill (but its so easy to do when the Dr says "this is worrying....").
She has put on 1lb in 2 weeks, thats the most ever!, I hope that it has no lasting problems and continues to grow/gain properly.
She´s still a little monster and terrorises the cat, next doors baby (1 month older) and has DH wrapped around her little finger!!

So glad they were able to find out what was wrong. And more importantly that it wasn't serious Glad she is gaining weight now.

I'm so glad things are starting to look up. I haven't checked in here in a while, so I never knew you were having issues. I'm glad your doctor has found the solution though. 1 pound in 2 weeks sounds awfully positive to me! She's so adorable by the way!

I'm so glad to hear your doctor figured out what the issue was! Hopefully she continues gaining now like she did in the past couple of weeks. Wouldn't it be funny if she turned into a little chunk now since you've been so used to a skinny baby?
