34 Week Appt

Just a little update...had my 34 week ultrasound and appt yesterday.

Things are going pretty well, my blood pressure is still high, but it was lower than it has been in weeks, so we continue to hold off on BP meds for now. No trace of protein or sugar in my urine, so that's great news!

Ultrasound showed that Mari is in the 35% percentile for growth, which is down a bit from two weeks ago when she was in the 50% percentile, but they tell me that at least she's still growing! They estimate her at 4lbs 13ozs right now. The blood flow through the cord looks good as well.

So all in all, good news except for the continual high BP. I'm starting to feel more and more confident that my little "pumpkin" will make it to her "Due" month of October!

Great news, Tina! You are doing some awesome work baking little Mari. Bed rest is hard work. Seriously. I hope you continue to get good news.

Thanks ladies...but I can't take full credit since I am on "modified" rest...where I don't have to be strictly in bed all the time like many ladies do...

Luckily, the no protein in my urine suggests no pre-eclampsia at this point so my restrictions aren't bad...just really rest as much as possible, put my feet up...and try to reduce stress!

glad to hear your bp is down!! def try keep it that way, although its hard tell, i felt fine even though mine was high.

I'm glad to hear everything is going great and your bp is down. Only a week and a half till October. I can't believe how the time is flying by.

and now she's just weeks away from coming!!!

I thought I had SO MUCH time to get ready for her since we found out pretty much right away when we got pregnant, but we're down to the last few weeks and her nursery isn't still completely finished yet and I still have some things to buy! Granted, we just moved last month into our house, but Eek!!
