Hi everyone! I am so touched by this post. *big hugs* I am still currently in the hospital & I've been here since Tuesday, Sept 22nd. My doctor popped in and she just said she really thought they were going to have to induce me but I've managed to keep little Ashlynn in the oven and my blood pressures in a better range.
My husband Jake has been great and comes to see me every day. Last night he brought me a Comfort Supreme Plus Five-Zone Foam Mattress Topper to make the hospital bed a bit more comfortable for me which was sweet. And some Yankee Candles with a candle warmer which was a nice suprise too.
Ashlynn is doing great other than a few minor fetal heartrate decels but she bounced back really quickly so they not to worry that it was normal. I'm on monitoring 24/7 which has been interesting but I can find her now on my own without needing a nurse to hook me up. LOL!
They say as long as my blood pressures stay good then I will be induced starting next Tuesday night, Oct. 6th since I will be 37 weeks on Wednesday which they said is considered full term. I have PIH - Pregnancy Induced Hypertension which is why I'm in the hospital. I haven't developed pre-eclampsia yet but I'm borderline and they said PIH gets progressively worse which is why I'm being induced at 37 weeks.
I had an ultrasound on Monday and Ashlynn was 5lbs 8oz. It will be a slow induction so it might not be until that Thursday until she is born, depending on how I progress. We are VERY excited to finally meet her and the nursery is done except for putting everything in it's place. I have been in and out of the hospital a few weeks prior to getting admitted so it has been difficult to get alot of stuff done myself since I was on bedrest.
Here are the latest picture updates that I have to share....

My husband is off work starting tomorrow until the end of October so I'm really happy about that & my parents are flying up on Wednesday to be here when Ashlynn is born. My Dad can't stay as long, but my Mom will be staying for 2 weeks. I can't wait to see them both! then my MIL is coming up to stay a week following my Mom's return to Texas.
