So, I know that stress is bad for me right now, but, it's so hard to avoid - when someone breaks into your house when you are at work today!!!!!
My neighbour called me (& another called DH at the same time) and told us that our front door had been kicked in!!! One of the neighbours children saw one of our cats outside and told their parent who then watched our cat walk in the door. They then called us and called the police for us. The police stayed here until we got here.
The good news is that they didn't touch anything! Nothing was touched that we can see - none of the obvious big ticket stuff! Not sure what scared them away but something did... thank God!
Our door has been repaired enough for the night until DH has the insurance co out tomorrow to get it repaired.
Man - I was upset earlier... I tried everything I could to keep myself calm but it's so hard! I've had a bit of cramping... makes me nervous. Please keep my bean in your T & P! I'm going to try to not stress and get some sleep!

It will be OK, I know its hard NOT to stress. Just remember to breathe.
I am so sorry your house was broken into, but thank goodness SOMETHING scared that awful person away!!!!!

Oh no!! I'm glad they didn't take anything, but I'm sure you still feel so violated! Try to relax if ya can!!! At least you weren't home!!

OH NO that is aweful that someone did that. Im so glad nothing was taken though, but as somebody else said, im sure you feel so violated. Im sorry that happened. HUGS

Thanks so much ladies. DH was absolutely wonderful - he took all the stress away from me.
We still don't quite know what happened. The alarm scared them off - thank God! Our insurance company is replacing our entire door and frame... whew. I hope they have been scared off now!
