For those of you who wanted to know how organize the nursery, here is my attempt at making a nursery functional!

Here is how they nursery looks when you walk in the door. (Closets are to the left)

Here is the dresser

Top drawer is hats, bows, socks, and diaper covers

Next drawer are the clothes she fits on now. Mostly 0-3 and 3 month stuff. I have the onsies "rolled" in the drawers rather than stacking them. This way I can see everything I have at once. This is the only drawer that is really organized as you will see. Once Lilyana grows out of these clothes, the top TWO drawers will be her current clothes. I need more room!

These are 3-6 month and 6 month clothes

And these are 6-9 and 9 month clothes

The bottom drawers are used for her receiving blankets

On to the changing table! Lilyana is modeling it for you!

I have baskets underneath the table. 3 of them contain diapers. The top one on the right has her pj's.

Her bookshelf has a few books on it and most of her stuffed animals

And my giant elephant in the corner

On to the closets!

Here is the left side. All of the outfits that currently fit her are on the top rack. Ones she needs to grow into are on the bottom. I have many baskets in here for pacifiers, teething rings, toys, nursing pads, etc. I also have a big green tote on the floor. That is for the clothes she has outgrown. Once it is full, it will get moved to the basement

In the corner of this side of the closet, I have big containers for the clothes she needs to grow into and get put into the dresser

On the right side of the closet I have a bunch of shelves. It is pretty messy now. It was way more organizer before Lilyana was here! It has baskets for all of her bathroom stuff. Safety items (cabinet locks and stuff like that). I also have diapers, wipes, blankets, bottles, basically anything that hasen't been used yet, or is not used on a reguar basis. I purposely didn't make the shelving go all the way down to the floor so I could fit bigger items in the closet if need be.

And finally, her towels and washcloths are in the linen closet

I didn't take pics of the downstairs, but our house is FULL of baby stuff. We can barely walk around. She has her jumper, and floor mat, basket of toys, pack n play, car seat, bouncer, swing, a collect of burp cloths and bibs, a couple bottles and pump parts galore all of the rest of the house. Amazing how such a little creature needs so much stuff!

Hope this helps and hope you enjoyed the tour of Lilyana's nursery!

you're way more organized than me.

the only comment i have on this is where the changing table is. we had one of ours in the living room on the first floor and one in the nursery. we only bought 2 because we got an amazing deal on them and thought it'd be easier to resell stuff if we had the tables. anyway, we've since moved the first floor one into our front hall next to the stairs and the upstairs one into the kids bathroom. both of those floors are tiled. we have 2 kiddos who love to projectile poop over an open diaper. i'm pretty good at catching it, but dh is horrible. we were sick of cleaning baby poop off of carpet and other furniture. now we just have to quickly wipe the tile.
