Okay so i finally went for my prenatal blood workups and they said since my mom has diabeties they were going to add a test for that in early for me. Well i totally didnt realize that meant i had to drink the orange stuff this morning! Icky! And i still have to do it again at the normal gestational age too. How come no one warned me about this stuff? Just needed to vent! Lol

Haha! Yeah, I had to do it twice because I failed the 1 hr test. I actually didn't mind it too much. It kind of tasted like flat orange soda to me.

I didn't mind it too much, it was all the fizziness that got to me. I don't drink pop because of the carbonation, so it was hard for me to drink that orange drink!!!!

Thank god I passed the first one!!

I have to do mine on Monday! My sister just did it though and said it was like flat orange soda too. I hope it's not that bad!

It was like flat orange soda but i should mention that i HATE orange soda! Lol

And she's like oh dont chug it but you need to drink it within 5 minutes... and i literally had to chug it to get it all down that fast? It was weird.

I had to do this a few times as well...I just put the drink in the fridge...seemed to go down easier for me that way

next time try it really cold and use a straw! Put the straw back as far as you can so it goes down past as much of your tounge as possible. I had to do it twice too...not fun!

I got to choose my flavor and did fruit punch. It wasn't too bad tasting, but really heaving on my stomach. Made me nauseous.

Ugh.. I did it once and I thought it was ridiculously sweet. It was refrigerated but I didn't get to choose my flavor so I ended up with the orange. Orange soda my behind, ladies! I was gagging for 20 minutes afterwards. It made me so nauseous I had to call DH to come pick me up afterwards instead of just taking the train back. And to top it all off, there was another woman there doing the same test and she chugged hers back within a minute. Made me even more nauseous

Yeah thankfully it was cold but a straw would have been very helpful!
