I was having a pregnancy craving and just had to make the peanut butter balls you posted back in the TTC #1 forum several months ago! They were so yummy again. I had trouble not eating the whole batch

That is too funny! They are super delicious Man, now i'm gonna have to make them again sometime soon. lol.
Here's the recipe:
2 cups Peanut butter
1/2 lb. Butter
1 1/2 lbs. Powdered sugar
16 oz. bag of chocolate chips (sometimes need a second bag)
Mix all ingredients except chocolate. Melt chocolate chips in a double boiler. Roll peanut butter mixture into balls, dip into melted chocolate. Place on pan and refrigerate. (I put wax paper on the pan first so the PB balls don't stick)
Enjoy

These are the ones I made!
My problem was the chocolate didn't stay thin enough to dip very well. I was thinking of adding some oil? Or maybe they'd melt better in a double boiler, I think I used the microwave. They are soooo good!

Oh yeah, the chocolate won't stay thin unless you keep it over heat. They should do a lot better if you use a double boiler. That's what i use. Just make sure the chocolate stays warm the whole time you dip

Makes sense! I was going to add that it was thin to begin with, but then got harder, which wouldn't happen if I kept it over the heat obviously. I did however, ruin the chocolate TWO times by microwaving it too long LOL Live and learn

I put a little veg. oil in mine and I heat it using the double boiler. The veg oil makes it easier to dip but also makes the chocolate stay a little shiny so the PB balls look prettier when you give them as gifts or when you keep them for a while.
