I am 7 weeks post partem tomorrow, I think I may be getting AF back!
i feel so cheated.

I guess its possible that its still a bit of pp bleeding but i doubt it, that stopped a couple of weeks ago.

(TMI alert), ive had loads of CM which seemed very fertile so maybe I O'd??
A couple ofdays ago I had AF like cramps too and thought oh no its coming already but then nothing until today. its only light at the mo but very AF like.

I'm EBF too. well i guess time will tell.

I had heavy spotting at 6.5 weeks (right when i had my 6 week check) and the midwife said it was common if you´re ebf as the milk hormones are at their highest and it affects everything a bit. (You might get spots too!). Mine lasted 4 days and it felt just like AF. I am now 6 months PP and no AF here yet!, Ana even started on solids and I think she must be taking the same amount of milk as theres no sign of the witch!

Lets hope she stays away until you want ttc#2!!

I agree that it could be a little more PP bleeding. A lot of girls in my PR experienced it stopping & restarting, some more than once.

I was one of the blessed ones (sarcasm) that had PP bleeding for 2+ month and then AF made her first appearance 4 weeks later and has not skipped a beat ever since. I felt really cheated because I was EBF, bled throughout the first half of my pregnancy and then hade super long PP bleeding with a short break before AF came back. It's all in the luck of the draw, I suppose, but it would have been nice to be one of the lucky ones who has zero bleeding during pregnancy and then goes on to be AF free for a year after giving birth.

Same thing happened to me Em!! Don't freak, I don't think it's AF, it could be, but AF didn't show till 6.5m PP for me. My PP bleeding stopped I believe at 3weeks but then came back at 6-7 weeks so I thought it was AF but it only lasted a few days and was random, I think it was from overdoing it hope the same for u!

I too had pp bleeding at 7 weeks! I was gettng so annoyed since it had stopped and kept coming back. I thought it was AF too, but nope!

Ditto to PP's. I had a last hurrah that was exactly like AF, but my doctor speculated that it was the end of PP bleeding, and he was right. I didn't have a sign of AF until around 6 months. Then I had random spotting a few times and now am on day 17 of AF.

That stinks. I hope it is just pp reoccurance. Hugs girl!

Well clearly iam not the norm I only blead for a week and then nothing until my 1st PP af a week to the day before Summer's 1st birthday.

ah thanks for all that girls, i think you allcould be right. It seems to have stopped again. (for now)
