I would say that theres probably no reason to stop walking, and i mean doctors say you're supposed to still get exercise (my doctor told me to START walking), i mean obviously if you're running and walking up huge hilsl huffing and puffing you should probably calm it down but as long as its an easy stroll i dont see why it wouldnt be okay.

And i also wanted to add that although i'm not the best one to give advice because i'm going on 12 weeks and petrified that i'll have no HB at my u/s next week... i do wanna say one thing. As you might remember i started spotting last time at 8dpo and thats why i was over 5 weeks before i finally tested, as you know that ended in m/c shortly after testing... Well this time i DID spot after after an u/s pretty bad, and a couple of other times after dtd and going potty.... and still after that everything was fine. I guess i'm just saying if you DO spot not to freak out right away, i sure did and it ended up being for nothing. I realized that i must just have a sensitive cervix and that spotting may just be a way of life for me. (Although i am happy to say i havent spotted in a couple of weeks)

I have read that low impact exercise is actually really healthy for you to be doing. As long as you are feeling alright, I think you should. I think it is great that you are able to walk to work.

I don't see why you should stop. Don't over exert yourself though. No lifting any heavy boxes at work!

I agree that there's no reason to stop as long as you aren't setting some ridiculous pace and are mindful of your body's limits. Easy for me to say without having a loss, though. I'm not sure what I would do in your shoes.

I think unless I have spotting, I will walk!! I think it is right, and the walking will be good for me. I will keep you girls updated.

I agree with everyone - take it easy, but walking is probably fine. But don't do it if you get overheated or feel faint! As long as you take care of yourself you'll hopefully be just fine

if its something youve been doing already, i say carry on. I had spotting at 11 weeks. My work was a 35 min walk eachway and I walked almost every day up until I started maternity leave at 36 weeks, some days I caved in but mostly walked.

I agree. I've been working out since I first got pregnant and haven't had any problems, my doctor even encouraged me to continue when I admitted to having a lull in my workouts. Like others said know your limits and make sure not to push yourself too much.

I didn't end up walking today, not because I felt uncomfortable with it, but because of the pending rain...boo on rain (i hate getting all wet walking in the rain) I still plan on walking tomorrow...today has been really busy at work, so it's probably a good thing that I didn't walk!!
