OMG, if my hair doesn't stop falling out soon I am going to lose it. I'm worse than my two pugs right now! LOL!! Has anyone else had this still happening at or after 4 monts pp? It's driving me insane. I have a hair appointment tomorrow and part of me is tempted to have my hairdresser shave my head!

lol at your last comment. Definitely had the same problem, actually several girls in my PR had hair loss for several months PP. Unfortunately, I don't remember when mine stopped falling out, but it does get better!

I think I am going to go bald with all the hair I lose every day. DH is getting sick of finding it everywhere too.

Mine just started falling out this week! It's crazy, and it surprised me too that it would be happening this far out Hollie.

Yes! I think it's slowed down now... started around 4-5 months for me. The girls are 8 months on Sat and I think it's better. (Still loosing more then before prego though).

Mine didn't start until I was about 2 months PP but it's still falling out. It's slowing down, but it's definitely worse than before I was pg & I'll be 7 months PP next week! I never had it in clumps, but when I take a shower or comb it out, I just get lots of strands that fall everywhere. It's very discouraging. Hopefully it stops soon for you! Just know you're not alone though

I had the same problem but it stopped after I chopped my hair. (During pregnancy it grew to my lower back.) I cut it shoulder length.

Oh NO! Really? Before getting pregnant I was in a phase where I was losing lots of hair but since getting pregnant I'm barely loosing any at all. I'm sad to hear this may change!

Mine's thankfully not as bad as it was. It was actually pretty bad. I lost soooooooooo much. It was everywhere, in the bed, the shower, it clogged up the drain so bad the maintaince guy had to unclog it with a pump, it was in Zane's diaper, around his hands/toes cause he'd find it on the carpet and it's get stuck on him. I ended up getting stupid baby bangs - regrowth. It was horrible. I hate it!!! I had to cut bangs from behind it to hide it. I was like bald almost in the front, until the whispy baby bangs grew in. It still looks bad, I can't wait for it to grow out!!!!!! I seriously hate my hair right now. I had it cut at 5 months PP and that was the best thing. I should have cut off 2 inches months earlier, that helped. I still loose a lot and my hair seems to barely grow It's much thinner too.

Mine started falling out at 3 months PP and has just about got under control now at 6 months. It was everywhere and still gets on my nerves.

I had it all cut off, about 18 inches, 3 days before she was born and I am so glad I did.

Nathan is 9 months old and my hair is still falling out! Although it's slower than it was, it's still worse than pre-pregnancy. I think if you're BFing it makes a difference, too, because your keep your hair longer and so it seems to take forever for this falling out phase to pass!
My hair is thicker than it was, despite having about 3 inches cut off two months ago.

Ok, you guys are going to hate this, but I love my hair loss. My hair is super thick to start. It was so thick during pregnancy that it was unmanageable. I had it thinned out a few times, but it got to the point that it was going to look funny if I thinned it out again. I was happily anticipating the day I started to lose it. It started already and I think it's going to thin out nicely...and so no one hates me, I'm going to add that I have horrible nails that didn't get any stronger or nicer during pregnancy.

For most people, you lose mainly what you didn't during pregnancy as hair loss slows down. You will lose some extra after that, but it usually comes back. Don't get too freaked out by this thread if you're prego.
