Can anyone tell me or show me pictures of how their changing table area is organized? What's the most helpful stuff to have handy?

A friend of ours gave us their changing table...it's a three tiered one where you have the changing pad on the first tier and can put baskets in the bottom two tiers to hold things...

Most of Mari's clothing and stuff is in her bureau, but I'm thinking I might want to move some of the more essential pieces to the changing table...what do you think??

Our changing area is on top of Brady's dresser. I keep 2 baskets up there that I fill with:

cloth wipes
disposable wipes
q-tips (use for getting boogers out of his nose)
hand sanitizer
medical kit with clippers, thermometer, etc
lotion
baby powder
rash cream (Triple Paste works best for us)
vitamin drops (prescription)
gas drops
gripe water (for hiccups)
Tylenol
a toy to distract him

I will take a pic when he wakes up. Right now I'm typing one handed.

i don't have a picture of mine right now. i keep wipes and hand sanitizer on the top. On the bottom 2 levels I have pink and blue plastic bins/baskets with lids. I keep diapers, extra wipes and infant toys on the middle shelf. I keep mainly blankets on the bottom. I thought about putting pj's in there some where, but haven't yet.

Thanks for the feedback ladies...I guess I will just have to experiment at this point and then just re-arrange when she gets here if something doesn't seem to be working out

I'm going to keep clothes in the two bottom baskets I have (they are big square baskets and will hold quite a bit). The middle shelf will have diapers, wipes and other diaper changing needs, plus grooming kit and other things like that. I'm probably going to put it all together next week when my mom is in town. I'm also thinking about hanging a shelf near the changing table (but not directly above) for other things, not sure yet.

I have a changer/dresser combo. On the top I have a basket with diapers, wipes, baby powder, diaper cream, body lotion, and her wipes warmer. And then on a shelf inside her dresser I have a big basket of everything else - aspirator, nail clippers, saline drops, Tylenol, lotions, Q-tips, gas drops, thermometer, extra diaper cream, etc.
