To stay healthy during your pregnancy??
I am trying to eat SUPER HEALTHY!
I'm eating a banana and yogurt for breakfast
Usually cheese, apples, and almonds for lunch (sometimes easy mac because I LOVE IT!!!)
And a healthy dinner with at least 2 veggies.
I'm also drinking TONS of water! I'm drinking a Boost Protein shake in the AM because I'm not finding meat all that appealing right now

I'm actually not watching what I eat too much right now, but I will be consulting a nutritionist next month. I don't eat horribly unhealthy now, but we don't eat the best either!
Last night, I made a double layer chocolate cake and I'm making chopped beef/brisket sandwiches for dinner! YUM!!!
I have been drinking mostly water.....with only a few glasses of tea a week!

I have been trying to eat healthy...it is hard with DH...I make sure I have a super healthy breakfast and lunch, but since DH makes supper, some times it's hard.
I bought apples, banana's kiwi and cantalope today at the store, and yogurt...for my healthy breakfasts and lunchs...I drink mostly water and milk with the occasional decaf coffee.

I already ate pretty healthy, so not much has changed. I don't eat beef or pork, only farm-raised chicken and wild caught fish, or vegetarian. Lots of veggies, lots of dairy (milk, cheese, etc.), lots of nuts and beans, and very little processed carbohydrates or white rice/potatoes. My only struggle of late has been avoiding sweets, because for whatever reason once I got near the end of my second trimester, I started craving sugar more than I ever had before. So I do indulge in sugar free ice creme, cookies, hot cocoa, etc. more now, but I figure it is balanced out by the rest of my diet.

Rachel, I forget do you know what you are having or is it a surprise? I too craved sweets at the end and I think that a old wives tale is that if you crave sweet you might be having a girl!!! Who knows!?!?!?

I barely wanted anything with refined sugar in it the whole pregnancy.

I don't know about that old wives tale... I crave sweets like there's no tomorrow and I am having a boy!

I've been craving sweets - specially the last few weeks, and I'm having a boy...
Today, I had an omelet with spinach, one pancake with strawberries, split pea soup, one piece of pizza, some black bean soup, and a (very small) piece of sorbet cake...
and about half a gallon of water
I'm trying to do healthy, it was harder in the first tri when I had major food aversions, easier now, except for the sweet cravings

I have been eating a LOT so when we went to the store we bought a bunch of fruit, since it's healthier than crackers and stuff. I already eat pretty healthy because I have been working on losing weight, so I just need to not let the snacks get out of control.

I have been wanting protein, which is very different from the previous pregnancies or just in general. I've been eating eggs and cheese with wheat toast for breakfast, usually some form of chicken for lunch and I've been craving beef (which NEVER happens) for dinner. Before I became pregnant I've been an advid water drinker. The weird thing is that sweets make me nauseasted right now. I can't stand the thought of them.

I have been having HUGE food aversions. I normally eat pretty darn healthy, but since the m/s and food aversions kicked in, I can barely bring myself to eat any fruits or veggies. Its very frustrating. Long story short, not eating as healthy as I had wanted. I hope once the 1st trimester is over with, I will be back on track!

I would starve with your diet! I typically eat a bowl of cereal for breakfast and a banana and sometimes even toast. On days i work that only holds me over until around 11 when i eat a granola bar and then lunch shortly after. When i'm home i just eat whatever i feel like when i'm hungry, with some exceptions of course. I've definitely been trying my best to choose healthy foods and include fruits and veggies (although that's difficult for me)
