I got my progesterone back from the other day when I had that other Beta drawn and it was 44.7. When it was drawn on 14 DPO it was 65. I'm wondering why it dropped. The nurse at the office says it's still good numbers but I'm concerned because it dropped 20 points. Any info?

FWIW, my progestrone was like 10.7 at 7DPO (on my pregnancy cycle) and I was concerned (once I found out that I was pregnant) that it was low, the doc said that anything over 10 was ok - and I never had any spotting or anything...

My doctor told me anything over 25 was great - I was 27.5 at 23DPO.....personally I'd ask your doctor for another progesterone draw later in the week, maybe you might need a progesterone supplement.....IDK

My doctor said as long as progresterone was over 20 it was good. Less than that and he would have prescribed supplements. Will you be getting it drawn again?

I'm not sure what they are going to do. I'm calling and asking to speak with the Dr directly tomorrow and see what he says. I still have an RE appointment scheduled for Thursday it was supposed to be my consultation before we got our BFP. I'm thinking about asking them for help if my Dr wont help. I have another friend that is an OB/GYN and I called him and he said that I should be supplemented.

My progesterone this time was 29 but I only had one draw so I'm not sure if it fluctuated or not. My OB did supplement me with extra because she new I was worried. There's no harm in taking progesterone so they should definatley give you a RX for that.
Do you think that the reason for the higher number was because you were on clomid? Maybe the reason for the drop was because the clomid was working its way out of your system.
You and your LO are in my prayers Amanda. I hope your doctor gives you some input to ease your mind. KUP.

I only had mine measured once (it was like 30), so I don't know if mine fluctuated. I think it would be higher on clomid though, so what Christina said might be the case. I was told over 10 was good, over 15 if you were on clomid. GL!

Thank you,
I called this morning and they had a cancelation for this afteroon. The nurse asked if I would like to just come in, instead of talking to him on the phone. So of course I said yes. I'm going in at 3:45 for an ultrasound and to talk with him. I need prayers please!!!

My progesterone was really low...I don't even remember what it was. But, I only had it drawn once, so I don't know if it changed at all.
Good luck at your appt. I can't wait to hear how it goes!

Well I went in and my baby has a heartbeat!!!!!!! I feel relieved. I really expressed to the Dr that i'm terrified and would feel better if they could give me a little reassurance sometimes. He said that my progesterone levels are more than excellent, my HCG levels are excellent (he thought there might be twins, but there was only one). He did start me back on progesterone suppositories, he said if it will make us feel better that it's not harmful to the baby. He said that he was going to keep our appointment for next week and that he would do another sono then!!! He reassured us that it is completely normal to be as scared as we are and that it will start to go away the longer the pregnancy sustains. Next week we should be able to actually hear the heartbeat, this week we only saw it fluttering. I measured at 5 weeks and 5 days. Thank you all for your concern. I feel so ashamed to be so worried but I know that it is normal.

YAY Amanda. It is totally understandable being worried like you are. I went through the same thing after my loss. I swear I was at either the RE or the OB on a weekly basis just to get reassurance. I'm glad he put you on suppositories. That is what I took too. So happy for you hun!!!!
