Are you finding yourself to be a POASaholic


I have seriously POAS everyday since I got my first

I'll be 5 weeks tomorrow and still, the urge to see that second line is looming.

I know part of it is because I'm terrified that something will go wrong (AGAIN) and I will lose my precious bubs, but the other part of me just LOVES relishing in the joy of that I can't get enough!

Am I a total looney toon or what Please tell me I'm not alone. Even for the BTDT mamas, did you POAS more than a week after you found out you were preggo???

lol not with Christian, but I did do it yesterday in the middle of the afternoon because I needed reassurance that I was indeed pregnant. I've had zero symptoms and feel great (minus being tired) and if AF wasn't AWOL, I'd never suspect I was pregnant.

I POAS about twice a week...I'm hoping that after my Ultra Sound on Thursday though that will stop.

I POAS probably 10 times before I had my first U/S at 6 weeks. I also had a loss and I needed to see my lines get darker.

i took 3 test initially. then before my first u.s @7 weeks 5 days i took another one just to be sure!

I'm the odd ball. I only POAS once. I was getting my hcg checked every few days though and it was sky high, so I didn't feel the urge. If I wasn't getting those numbers I would have been POAS.

I had about 20 (after getting 5 boxes of new ones when I got my first BFP and the leftovers I had from TTC - about 12)...I used all of them...just loved seeing the line after getting so many that were stark white for so long

i took 5 total, 4 cheapies and a digi. then I stopped. Step away from the sticks girls! lol although i totally understand your reasons for POAS

After my BFPs, I didnt POAS until 10 days later just to use up my last digi. I havent done any since.

I did 3 FRERs and a digi - i had my betas checked 3x though to see the numbers go up!!

I can't remember when I stopped POAS, but it took a while, I know that. It's a great feeling to see those two lines! Have fun with it. but word to the wise - don't freak if you see it get lighter at some point. It did for me once and scared the bejeezez out of me!

I did two right away (since thats what was in the package afterall) then got diggies (2).... then about 2 weeks later i bought more because i wanted to see darker lines! Lol... so total i did 7
