So it's official - the agonizing pain in my left breast is mastitis. I also have a milk blister (aka - bleb) on my nipple. Boooo!!! I'm on antibiotics and have to soak my tatas in warm water when I get home. Hopefully that will make this darn blister go away! At least that's it, though, I suppose... gotta look on the bright side!

Ouch! I had a milk blister in August and it was EXTREMELY painful. Luckily I was able to "pop" it myself, but it kept coming back. PITA!

aww i really feel for you. I hope the antibiotics work for you, it was too late by the time i started antibiotics and mine turned into an abcess which I had surgery on a week ago and left a 2 inch long 1 inch deep gash under my arm, looks kinds cool in a sick way. All the stuff i read up on b/feeding when i was pregnant trying to arm myself with info, i hardly read anything about mastitis and how freakin painful it is. things we do for our kids eh, lol

Same here! I even read books on breastfeeding!! Oh well. Live and learn. I'm hoping this goes away on it's own. I hope you're feeling better!!! I didn't know you had to have that done!! Where the heck have I been?!?
