Told my dad

Up until last night, my husband and I were the only ones that knew I was pregnant. I really wanted to tell my dad because we are very close and I really don't want to go this whole pregnancy thinking the worst might happen. We are waiting to tell other family, of course, and we know Jeff's mom will tell the whole world, so we haven't told her yet. My dad's reaction was funny he first said congratulations, then he hugged me and said good job (that struck me as funny), then he goes "about d@mn time" lol! We have only been married four years, but we lived together for two years before that so it must have seemed like a long wait for his first grandchild. He never once bugged us about having kids, so "about d@mn time" is not something I would have predicted he would say lol!
