So, we told my dad this weekend that we were going to have a baby...and I knew my step mom would probably tell my stepsister, and all of them are on my facebook, and so is my husband's mom and pretty much the rest of my siblings. I was so afraid something would leak on Facebook (Finding out that way would be the worst. I would feel so bad!) that when my husband's parents asked us to dinner tonight, he told them...then I had to tell my sister. It's not like it's out to acquaintances and extended family or anything (I am not going to be the one to facebook it until maybe December!), but I just hope we can hear the heart beat on the 20th so I don't have to break sad news to all those people. My sister was so excited, she screamed in my ear. Now I am more worried than I was before, because then it would be only me disappointed. I seriously wasn't planning on spreading it around this quick! Ohhhh, everything better be ok!

I am sure everything will be fine...and also my theory on telling too soon is that those might be the people you turn to for support if something does happen anyway right? So eventually they will know either way...better to tell them now than to say "I was pg than I am pg." But you wont have to worry about that anyway because you are going to have a sticky bean!

April...I at first didn't want to tell people then I realized that if I were to lose the baby I would be so upset and not be able to hide it so I would have to tell everyone then anyway.

I do understand though, we didnt tell anyone until 12 weeks. Did you tell the family members that know not to say anything yet? Im sure they would respect your wishes if you say so
