Here it is folks. Feel free to post pics of the ugly clothes you got. Sadly, we returned most of ours. I just picked a couple things we got without gift receipts.

Our children are not growing up in the 80's and I will not dress them like they are. My absolute favorite part of these sweat suites is the glittery part. Ewwww, Ahhhh!

Thankfully this is just a PJ set and we don't dress the girls in PJs during the day. The pink is horrible. I particularly like the little pink embroidery.

Just in case you didn't get a good enough view of that pink thing.

Granted this one isn't horrible, it's really not my style and it's totally impractical. The girls should fit in it in about December. Let's think about this. Who here thinks that a sleeveless summery dress is the what you should buy for someone in Wisconsin for winter?

I know little girls like pink, but we got so much pink it looks like someone puked pepto bismal in their dresser. We didn't buy them anything pink, so at least they have a few other colors.

LOL you kill me! Sweat suits are just bad in general but the glitter makes them worse.

I don't know why people insist on pink everything when there is a girl.

Lol 80's rule that doesn't mean babies should bring them back though.

On a side note, a co worker's wife had a baby boy a few years ago, and I bought them some little jeans and a button down shirt that was various colors, I didn't even think much about it, I just thought they were cute. He specifically thanked me for not getting him anything that was blue, because they had too much of it. Now when I buy baby gifts I try not to get pink/blue, because he mentioned that! Weird how people think boys only wear blue and girls only wear pink huh?

At least you can regift the last outfit! hahaha

I am gonna have to go digging when I get home. Mostly ugly pj's that were yellow or green.... because we didn't know what we were having.

i just wanna chime in here and add that my BF is having a little girl and when her MIL and SIL found out the sex they went out and bought a bunch of stuff...

ALL SEASONALLY INAPPROPRIATE!! She's like, WTH? Do the math!!

It was funny...i said the same thing, regift them, or get her a sweater!

Most seasonably inappropriate gifts are from people who are well aware of the fact that babies grow at weird rates and want you to be prepared. There's no way to know what size they'll be and when, so I don't pack that stuff away until it's outgrown, even if it ends up not being worn. The babies in my PR are 5-6 1/2 months and wear sizes from 0-3 to 18mths!!

IDK - the sweatsuits kind of remind me of the Care Bears!

I don't have pics but I got plenty of ugly stuff! Mainly stuff that was handed down and some was cute but not my style at all! I also don't understand how people can buy you a cute summery outfit when your baby is due in the summer but get the outfits in 3-6 mo. DUH!

We only got 4 ugly outfits (we didn't ask for clothes cause i knew we'd get stuff I wouldn't like and without gift receipts )

Here's the uglies I got:

I got a fleece zippered carter's sleeper...sized 6months. Hello he was 6 months in July, super hot here in CA! He didn't wear any jammies to bed. I hate how people can't calculate and give the wrong season sized stuff~

I got a lot of seasonally inappropriate things too. It's hard for some people though because they had big/small children. Like my sister never knows what size to buy her friend's kids clothes because her boys were always WAY bigger then their age. Her youngest Brandon is 11 months and wearing a 2T. He was in 18 months at 8 months old. So I guess you never know....

I was lucky and got mostly super-duper cute stuff for E. However, my penny-pinching in-laws got us some second-hand clothes that were hideous! (I am all about second-hand CUTE items. These weren't cute. At all.) I got heavy, heavy sweaters and fleeces in sizes 3-6 months from them. That's May-August. In Texas. Of course, I couldn't return any of it. It's all stashed in the back of a closet now. I'll try to snap a pic or two tomorrow.

I didnt get anything too hideous, some things were way to old-fashioned (think felt lederhosen with a frilly white shirt, matching socks and headband) which my MIL loves. I also got lacey, frilly pram blankets and pillowcases, she was in her pram May, june and July, its 100º then so she never used them.

She was a lot smaller than predicted (2lbs less) so I told people she´d be big, luckily they underestimated how hot it is in summer here and now in autumn they all fit.

She got a snowman dressup outfit in NB (she was born in April??) from DH grandma.

And pink, pink and more pink, luckily we NEVER buy her pink so we´re keeping it in check!

I have regifted lacey tights and ankle socks with pompoms on strings??

I thought I dressed Brady cute, but now I'm second guessing myself because I like some of the things you guys posted! I guess to each his own!

I love embroidery too. I don't think the picture does that outfit justice. It's a horrible pink IRL.

The trains would be cuter if it was all gray with the train embroidery. I don't like the red sleeves, the striped red or the red kangaroo pockets. I don't like one piece outfits unless they are sleepers. The color of that blue one is an ugly blue (picture is bad quality) and it has those kangaroo pockets on it, which makes it look weird.

I agree. One piece outfits, especially with shorts just make a kid look weird.
