My shower Nov 1st! (x-posted, long and lots of pics)

I had my shower yesterday. It was really fun. I got a ton of stuff, I can't believe how much stuff I got! It was a good mix of clothes and items off my registry. I think the only items I still need from my registry are bigger items like my swing, high chair, and crib mattress. Otherwise I am pretty stocked up! I got my entire bedding set, bather, blankets, towels, mattress cover, bouncer, pack and play, first aid set, baby montior, and more.

It was held outside at a family friends house. (Yes, we still have nice weather in So. Cal at this time of year LOL!) They had appetizers, a chocolate fountain, and cake. We played a fun game where you had to guess which candy bar went with which phrase. Like "What do you not want your doctor to be?" Butterfinger. I will have to get the list and post it because it was so cute.

My most favorite gift was a stool that I used as a kid at my grandmother's house. I was very close to her and she passed away a few years ago. All of the grandchildren used this stool for many years. My aunt had the lettering redone and gave it to me to use for my kids now. When I'm finished I will pass it along to my sister's kids.

I also got alot of handmade items including a quilt that my sister made and a handnitted blanket, jacket, cap, and booties from a family friend.

It was a great day!
