ok as some of you may know i work in an infant room at a daycare. well im on leave right now and have to go back monday. my boss doesnt allow employees to work in the same room as their own child(ren).
the place i work at has two centers. i was working a split shift at the Heath center in the infant room and my boos told my i would be working in the East center in the infant room from 815-915, but Jayla would still go to the Heath center...ok that fine.
well my boss called me today and said the girl who was working for me at the East center really likes it there and doesnt wanna leave. so she asked me if i wanted to work full time at the Heath center (which is the one i have always been in) so i said of course.. now here is the GREAT news...
they are keeping me in the infant room!!!!!! which mean i get to stay with my baby all day long! and get paid for it!! i am so so so happy!!! 
now i cant wait to go back to work!! my boss said she thinks it will be fine since Jayla is still so young!

wow thats great!!! youre very lucky, is that definatly a long term thing? I cant believe youre going back already. didnt you just have Jayla yesterday? (well it seems like it)

it should be long term as far as i know. she did say if they needed a sub and the infant room was low enough they would put me somewhere else every now and then.
and i know it went by so so fast! i cant believe 6 weeks is almost up!

I KNOW where the conflict can come in as I worked with someone and her daughter was in our class and it was awful and eventually ended VERY badly but i can't see how there can be such a conflict in the infant room. That is SUPER exciting Erica!!
