Thanks ladies!

He seems to be doing better today. I've been able to pump about 25 ml of breastmilk per feeding and they want him to have around 30-35 so they are suppplementing the rest until i can produce more milk. He's gained a few ounces already and his BR level was down to 7.5 today! It could still go back up if they removed him from the lights so he is staying for now. We'll find out more when we see the dr later this morning. He's so sweet! We can't hold him because he's attached to monitors and has to stay under the lights. I can't wait til he's better and can come home! I'm ready to eat him up!!

I already commented on FB but wanted to give you my thoughts and prayers here too! I hope he plumps up soon and gets to come home. I can't even imagine how heartbreaking this must be. Hang in there!! KUP when you can.

I'm so sorry to hear that!! I'm sure he'll get much better soon! He's soooo cute oh man! I don't know if I'm just more emotional today but that picture just brings tears to my eyes!!

Aww I'm so sorry hun! That must be incredibly difficult. When I had Allie, she had to be in the NICU for observation all 4 days that we were there. I could only see her when I went to down there. That was bad enough, but there was another mommy there who's baby had been in there for a good month or so. I'd always see her stop in to feed the baby. They were finally able to go home on our last day there so it was nice to see. I just can't imagine how it must feel not being able to take your LO home (& stay home). I hope he gets to come home real soon! T&Ps that his stay there will be very short!

I'm so sorry Erin. It must be hard to be away from your baby and have him be sick. But, I'm glad it's something relatively minor and that he should be fine. I hope he gets better quick so he can come home and be with you.

Oh I'm so sorry he has to stay in the hospital. He looks great though, hopefully it will be a short stay. He's so stinkin cute.
