When we were discharged yesterday, Kylar's billirubon level was 12 and they had us coming back today for another draw. He has also gotten down to 4lbs 5 oz. Today when we came back his level was 15 and his weight was 4lbs 2 oz so they unfortunately had to re admit him 
I am so so sad and miss him terribly (although the hospital is letting us stay in a hospitality room, I wish I could be with him at all times). I am pumping every three hours, so he is still able to get breast milk, but they are also having to give him some of his food through a tube in his nose. It's incredibly heartbreaking... but I know we have to do what is best for him. I know how fortunate we are! He could be much much worse and I am so thankful he is relatively healthy, but it's still heartbreaking to see your baby so pitiful! I am hoping and praying that my sweet boy gets to come home SOON!!

I'm sorry Erin...I'm glad they are letting you stay in the hospitality room, and that you are still pumping for him! I know he will start gaining weight and will be home before you know it!

I'm so sorry he had to be admitted again, but hopefully he'll gain weight quickly with the hospital's help and be home in no time. It is great you get to stay there with him though!

Oh no!! Have they said how long they think he might have to stay? Hopefully by tomorrow morning his bili level will be back within normal range. Has he been eating well over all?

That is super-stressful and scary, Erin. Good news is that he is getting the extra attention he needs and you are close by to offer all the comfort he needs. I hope you are all home together very soon.

I also hope he doesnt have to stay in, it was stressful enough when Ana got readmitted for one day of light treatment.
Give him lots of strokes from me! Can you hold him, or does he have to be in his incubator bed?

Aw, so sorry Erin that Kylar is back in the hospital. I hope he puts on weight real fast and you get to bring him back home soon.
