Quick update xp

I'm sorry I haven't had much time for JM but things have been a bit hectic. Kylar and I were both discharged on Monday and then he was re-admitted Tuesday. They planned on letting him come home Wednesday but then he started to not eat well and his temperature kept dropping. That same day I was re-admitted for extremely high blood pressure. We've both been back re admitted for two days. They finally put me on some blood pressure medicine and that has really helped my pressure. They are discharging me today.

Kylar will be here several more days. They have incubated him and he is receiving tube feedings. This is probably the hardest thing I've ever been through. I KNOW he is ok and we're so lucky compared to what some others go through but it's still very diffivcult. I just want to hold my baby and feed him and kiss him. It's very difficult. He is at a "feed and grow" stage right now where their main concern is just getting him to put on weight and not using all of his calories to keep warm or try to eat. We hope he'll be off the tube very soon.

I am still pumping every three hours although they are giving him a special formula right now. They are talking about letting him take the breast milk with some human growth fortifier added to it. I will keep you all posted and I hope my little handsome guy gets to come home with us VERY soon!

I am glad he is in safe hands, but I can only imagine how difficult this is for you!!!!!! Take care of yourself and KUP! Lots of people are praying for your little man!

aww Erin thats horrible, it must be so difficult. Maint hing is to get his weight up. Well done you for still pumping. Be great if you can keep it up until he comes out. Glad the meds are keeping your BP down too, they seemed to keep mine down, hopefully you can gradually wean off of them soon, thinking of you all

Oh Erin, I'm soooo sorry. I couldn't imagine the heartache you must be going through. You are doing a great job at trying to stay positive so definitely keep that up! We are all here for you and stay strong momma, your little man needs you!!!!

Oh sweetie, it must be sooo hard to see him in there relying on tubes and things to grow...he'll be home before you know it, and you can cuddle and love him for the rest of your life.

I'm so sorry Erin! I'm sure this is very difficult for you right now. Just know he's in good hands and that it will only be for a little while longer. This will all be just a memory soon and you'll have your lil guy in your arms soon.

I'm glad your blood pressure is better. How traumatic for you to be having to go through all of this. I hope you little one grows fast so he can get home to you soon. Sending you lots of hugs....

Thanks for updating us Erin, I have been wondering how you guys are doing. I'm glad the dr.'s were able to get your blood pressure under control. I can't even imagine how hard it would be to see your little boy but not be able to hold him. I'm so sorry.

But I am glad that he seems to be in good hands.

I pray that he gains weight quickly and is able to come home soon!!

I�m sorry he has to stay in, but it sounds like you are keeping on top of it and keeping up your milk for when he comes out. I�m glad you are feeling better and I hope he puts on weight and comes home a bouncing baby very soon.
