I had an awesome time at my shower yesterday!!! It was great to celebrate my little baby boy. About 20 people came (a bunch of people had things come up last minute and asked to meet me later in the week to celebrate and give their presents). A lot of people who couldn't make it also sent gifts. I got so many nice things (and surprisingly it wasn't all clothes!) and really thoughtful gifts. One of my girlfriends actually set me up with a hospital bag (toothbrush/toothpaste, mouthwash, body wash, pads, breast pads/creme, scrunchies, chapstick, etc.) which was so thoughtful in addition to a bunch of other little gifts (the same girl who gave me tons of stuff before the shower from her little girl). Another friend bought me a travel system! I have such wonderful friends, I couldn't ask for better. I've attached a bunch of pictures and some of the individual gifts I got (couldn't get a picture of everything unwrapped because the camera died after they made my shower/bow hat). Thanks for looking!

BTW, Brady has that Baby Einstein mat and it is his favorite hang out. He loves laying under there and cooing at the toys. Hope your little one likes it too!

I know! It was so thoughtful and it is going to be really useful! It just eliminated so many things that I was going to pick up. I plan on doing it as part of a gift for a friend that is due 2 months after me.
