Hi Ladies!!
So sorry this update has been so long overdue...Mari is already 3 weeks and 2 days old today! Hard to believe that so much time has gone by already! The beginning including my unexpected c-section was quite rough, but things are starting to "normalize" (whatever that means  ) again...hope to post my birth story shortly
...I was also diagnosed with post-partum depression, which has made things even harder, but life is getting a bit better day by day...thankfully I have had family to help out these last few weeks, otherwise, I'm not sure how all three of us would've survived (DH, Mari & myself)!
Here are a few pictures of our little Mari Ella...born Oct 22, 7lbs 10oz, 20.5 inches long: (the first two were taken within hours of her birth and the last one was taken about a week ago)

Aww she's adorable! It's so nice to see an update from you. I'd been wondering how you were. I'm sorry about the post partum, hopefully things get better real soon.

Its so great to hear from you. I'm sorry you had a rough start...but I am so glad to hear things are looking up for you all. She is so adorable...those cheeks are so darn kissable! lol

aww, she's got the greatest little cubby cheeks! really beautiful. anyway, glad to hear from you - sorry to hear about the PPD, but I am glad that you're getting things worked out and feeling better every day. I know there are other ladies on here who have struggled with it, so I'm sure you could find lots of support if you need it.

Thank you ladies for the kind words about my baby girl
Unfortunately, I have struggled with depression/anxiety for most of my life so I knew that PPD was a real possibility...luckily, I have a very good therapist and doctor who are watching out for me...
