How long after delivering your baby did your AF return? Were you BF'ing?

I gave birth in Sept, bled until Nov and had my first PP AF in Dec. So, I had a normal cycle's worth amount of time AF-free. Oh and I was BFing.

I got my first PP AF at either 13 or 15 weeks, I can't remember. I was so pissed because I was EBFing! And still am, with just a small amount of solids added in but not replacing any feedings, and she is totally regular.

Camryn will be 6 months in a few days...and I still haven't had spotting or any sign of AF. I am EBF with solids, but I hope this is normal. Hmmm?!?!

I am 7.5 months pp and no sign here!! I am still bf and she just pretends to eat solids twice/three times a day.
I had 2 weeks pp bleeding and nothing since. I wouldnt mind seeing her as we are ttc #2! (never thought I´d say that!)

I had some random spotting in July and August, but it wasn't until Elliott was almost weaned that AF came back in full force. That was when he was 7 1/2 months old. I must say I didn't miss her a bit.

I had 6 weeks of PP bleeding, a 3 week break & then AF returned. Although it's possible that the last week of what I thought was PP bleeding was actually AF due to the timing of everything. I wasn't able to BF & could only pump for 3 weeks before my supply hit the skids so I wasn't surprised to see her return (not happy, but not surprised )
I think what's going on w/you is totally normal. As someone else mentioned, sometimes the old witch doesn't come back until you're totally stopped.

Shanna, we're in the exact same boat. EBF with solids and no AF here. I'm kind of hoping she comes back sooner than later because we're ntnp.

I didn't start solids with Zane till he was almost 6 months old. I was EBF (barely pumping at all) and I got mine back almost 7 months exactly after his birth.
But you can still get prego while BFing without AF's return. Happened to my SIL twice once at 3 months PP and the other at 6 months PP. If you really want to get AF you can start taking Vitex to help her along.

I'm kind of hoping that will happen for me. I don't want to stress over it or anything so we'll just let nature take its course for now. I have a friend who never got AF back but got pg at 4 and 6 months PP with two of hers. We'll see what happens. Stay tuned........
