My poor little Paige is teething as you know and I just feel so bad for her. I've been giving her some Tylenol and orajel on her gums. We also have been putting her pacifiers in the freezer and giving that to her. Do any of you BTDT moms have any other tips? Sometimes she cries when I give her the paci so does that hurt them or make it better? I just want to make her as comfortable as possible. I just feel so bad.

My Goddaughter just went through this! The ONLY thing that made her happy was ice cubes. I would put them in the food mesh ring and she wouldn't cry anymore until her ice cube was gone. Good luck.

There are homeopathic teething tablets that are helpful, one of the popular brand is Hyland's. Some people have great results with them. to the ice cube in the mesh feeder. Elliott also liked a frozen wash cloth to chew on. By far his favorite is a Raz-Teether. Here's a link: Raz-Teether

Just be careful with the frozen things because it can actually harm their gums from being too cold.

When she's 6 months old, you can rotate tylenol & motrin, plus the orajel & teething tablets. I gave Christian cold teethers from the fridge, cool wet washcloths to chew/suck on, and did the medicated ritual I mentioned. You can also try popsicles of some kind, perhaps in the mesh feeder, or make your own by freezing juice/water mix in ice cube trays.

Thanks Karly. Have any of you heard of Baltic Amber necklaces? A friend mentioned them on FB and didn't know if anyone here had any experience with them?

I'm not a mom but I helped my best friend to raise her son (her fiance had moved away for work and she went to school day and worked nights so for about 4-5 days out of the week I took care of him) and he went through this but he would never take a paci or a teething ring so what I did was in the applesauce isle there are packages of this Del Monte Fruit Chillers review - Slashfood, you can freeze it and it turns into like a sorbet and it worked WONDERS because he loved to eat! There wasn't a lot of sugar in them so after his bath (before bedtime) I would feed him a cup and it seemed to calm him down.

I also found applesauce recipes where people freeze the applesauce so maybe trying that and giving it to her while it isn't quite room temp yet
