I "might" have felt my baby for the first time yesterday, but i can't be sure that's what it was. It felt different than anything i ever remember feeling before. I've heard other people compare it to fluttering or say it feels like gas. It didn't really feel that way to me though. I guess it kinda felt like a big gas bubble if i had to compare it to that, but what it mostly felt like was something really small bumping into my belly. lol. I'll be 18 weeks in a couple days. Is it too early for me to feel it as clearly as i did? Whatever it was, it sure got me all excited.
How far along were you when you first felt your baby move and what did it feel like?

I'm not sure if i have yet, and i was actually going to post the same thing! I *think* i might be feeling something right now... but it could just be wishful thinking since i just had an u/s The doctor said i should for sure start feeling it in the next few weeks.

Krista!! That's wonderful! I felt baby for the first time (and I swear I'm not crazy!) a few days before 12 weeks. It was a twitch really low in my stomach and the next day I felt it A LOT. It's gotten so much stronger and a higher since then. I'm almost 19 weeks now, it's amazing.

I felt my first flutters around week 15 but around week 18 is when I could really tell for sure that it was him kicking around in there. They felt like popcorn popping in my stomach or like a quickening feeling. It's the best feeling in the world! Congrats!!!

I bet that is DEFINITELY baby!!
To me it feels like little cramps or muscle twitches...haa, he just kicked me right now...yea, like a little twitch...
It gets even better when you can lift up your shirt and just watch him kick away

I think for sure that could have been what you felt. I think I was around 16 weeks when I knew for sure it was baby that was moving. To me it didn't feel like gas or cramps...it felt like a baby moving in my stomach! lol It felt like something bumping around in there. God I miss that feeling! lol

I didn't feel her kick until 19 weeks and 6 days!! I was dying to feel it! I always say that when you feel it will 100% know it was a kick!!! That's so exciting and definitely reassuring! How very exciting! Remember this excitement at about 39 weeks!!! JK

I didn't feel anything (at least, not anything I could tell was baby not gas) until about 20 weeks, but it sounds like what you are describing is definitely baby. Woohoo!
