a HEARTBEAT!!! It was faint and hard to hear over my noisey placenta...but it was there!!! She couldn't tell me how fast it was, cause she would catch it for a minute, and then baby would move, and she would get just placenta, but she said it was a good heart beat, and she has all the confidence that baby is a.o.k!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now next week I can see junebug, and I can't wait to see how he/she has grown.  at 13 weeks should look pretty much like a baby, which is really exciting!! That's next Thursday morning! The day I'm 13 wks!!
Thanks so much girls for your thoughts and prayers!!! They are so appreciated, and have definitely helped to pull me through this hard time. One last milestone, and I will be in the safe zone, and can be confident that every this going to go smoothly!!!!!!!!
I'M GOING TO BE A MOMMY!!!! (I'm crying as I write those words!!!)

Congrats! It's so wonderful to hear it for the first time...and the second time...and the third time...LOL
Have you considered renting a home Doppler? DH and I got one and it's so nice to be able to listen to the heartbeat at home! We plan on keeping it until I can feel the baby kick.
When are you going to come join us in the June DDC?

I have thought about a doppler, and haven't decided if it would make me more nervous (if I couldn't find it) or less nervous...I'm still debating!!
I have posted a couple of times, answered some posts...been scared to join...after the ultrasound next week, I will join for sure!!

That's the reason my DH wouldn't let me get a doppler for home use.. I'm too much of a worrier- so if there ever was a time I couldn't find the HB I would have freaked out...

I'm so happy for you Marci! It is so reassuring when you can hear that baby's heartbeat on the doppler at the doctors. That means the baby is getting bigger! Congrats!

Our TTC journey: 6 cycles Clomid, lap surgery/ D&C, IUI, 2 x IVF; 33 cycles- BFN.
IVF#1 (March 2010) Transferred two 8-cell grade A (perfect) embies- BFN and heartbroken.
IVF#2/FET#1 (Jan/Feb 2011):Transferred two (7&8 cell) grade A (PERFECT) embies- BFN again.
March 2011- February 2012: On BCP due to endometriosis.
March 2012- taking a few months off of BCP and we are TTC naturally.
We will re-evaluate another IVF w/FET try in 2013.
