Hi girls! Miss all of you

I have a question...

Did any of your early pregnancy symptoms feel like the stomach flu?

A little bit yesterday, and worse today, I'm feeling like absolute poop!

Every time I get hungry, I get a little nauseous... So I eat something, and that makes me MORE nauseous! With that runny saliva and everything, like you get before you throw up.

And DH and I are supposed to be painting this weekend, so I started emptying the kitchen of knick knacks so we can start tonight - I made 5 trips to the bedroom I'm storing it in, and had to sit down I was so exhausted and light headed...

Feeling feverish almost, too - almost like Clomid style hot flashes, but they aren't as severe and don't last as long...

And then the sleepiness - last night when I went to bed, my head hit the pillow and I was just OUT. Sawing logs. Lots of vivid dreams, but I've always had insomnia unless I'm sick

I'm only 8DPO, so this is either A: very early for those symptoms, B: IPS, or C: I have the stomach flu because that is exactly what it feels like.

I mean, of course I have the usual sore BBs/nipples, some light cramping that kind of feels like burning around my ovaries/uterus, etc.

But I really, really hope I don't have the flu - I just feel so - so... ICKY!

Were your early symptoms at all like that?? Please tell me yes so I don't have to spend the weekend in bed with the flu LOL

Hey Cheryl! Miss you too

I really hope these are EPS and not the flu!

I had some mild nausea, peed alot, and sleep difficulties. You might want to check the graduate PG symptoms sticky too, to see what other symptoms ladies have experienced.

Good luck! I really hope this is it for you

Thanks Lynda! Wow you're getting close, can't wait to see little Elijah!

The nausea has faded a little bit now, thankfully, but I'm sure it will be back the next time I get hungry or eat something...

I SO hope this isn't the stomach flu, that would DOUBLE suck! BFN and sick LOL

I can't help you much, I had some very light cramping (so light I thought it might be my imagination) and was a little more tired than normal before I got my bfp... But I'm 10 weeks and still haven't thrown up (I did throw up once but that was because I went to Paranormal Activity), so I have no idea. Your chart looks awesome though, I can't wait until you test

REALLY hoping this is it for you Cheryl!!! Wouldn't it be WONDERFUL if you and Steph both got bfps this cycle!!!!! I just sort of felt "cloudy" and a bit "off" from my regular self if that makes sense. The vivid dreams started right away and they were quite intense. Crossing my fingers for you chica!!!

The week before I got my BFP I thought I had the stomach bug, but turns out it wasn't! I even missed a day of work because I felt so yucky and exhausted! I hope it is a good sign for you too!

Tiffany - I remember that, I was sitting there thinking "And she won't test?" LOL

I have been having a lot of strange dreams, and I remember them ALL. It's weird. I mean, normally my dreams are a little strange, and I can remember one or two of them sometimes, but this time even when I take a nap (which I have been needing a lot of) I have these dreams that I remember for days.

Like the other day, I was watching Guy's Big Bite on the Food Channel - and I had a dream that I was cooking with Guy! I heard him say something in the dream about fried sweet bread, and thought it made no sense - I wake up, and he's deep frying pizza dough to be dipped in cinnamon sugar on the TV. LOL!

I've figured out the nausea I think. At least somewhat. Which could be a good sign??

Don't kill me girls, but after attempting to quit about 12 times since I started TTC, I'm still smoking But I always said, if I am still smoking when I get my BFP, I'm quitting that instant. And I have cut down a lot - to less than half a pack/day. I was never a pack a day smoker anyway, but I still cut down and I'm cutting down more every day.

But the thing about the nausea is, every time I smoke - I gag, and feel like I'm going to throw up.

Hear me out on this one... In my family, it seems to be things like that which are the first "signs" of being pregnant.

My sister took a sip of beer and almost threw up - took a pregnancy test out of curiosity, BAM - 7 months later, Ethan was born.

My mom, when she was pregnant with my sister (this was back in the 80's, it was more common to smoke during pregnancy) had to quit because it made her puke every time - and it started off with it just making her nauseous.

Maybe this is a good sign? My grandma says I'm glowing, she's convinced I'm preggers LOL

But at least I know its the smokes, which regardless of whether I'm pregnant or not, I know it isn't the stomach flu and I can just quit and feel EXTRA better - I'll be able to breathe, AND eat!

Thanks for sharing all of your symptoms girls... I'm glad I figured out the thing about smoking, I thought for sure I was nuts thinking I was having m/s this early LOL - but that might make sense! DH says the baby is rejecting my unhealthy habit

Little does he know, he has to quit WITH me when I get my BFP LOL
