Ok, well almost. I was giving Allie a bath last night & she was laughing & something caught my eye. It looked like something of a slit on her bottom gum. I tried to feel but she will NOT let me even get close (she never used to be bothered by my weekly gum checks but in the last week...forget it!).

I tried to show DH but Allie wouldn't let him She keeps making the funniest faces where she grins real wide & scrunches up her face & when she does, you can get a good look but she wasn't in the mood last night lol. This morning when I dropped her off at daycare, I showed her teacher & she said Oh yeah, that's a tooth coming in!

Finally!! I was beginning to think this child didn't have teeth underneath those gums! I'm so excited & sad at the same time because once that tooth comes through (visibly) she won't look like the same little baby anymore

Ps. Can I just say that for the ladies who have yet to experience the joys of a teething baby, go to the store right now & get yourself some Hylands Teething Tablets. I'd had them on hand since we FIRST thought she was teething so I was prepared! lol I'd give her 3 of those & 1.25ml of Motrin in the morning before daycare & at night before bed & it helped ease the crankiness (& obviously the pain) sooo much. I also picked up Hylands teething gel in BRU last night so we'll see if it works!

Yippee for a tooth!!! And I totally agree with you about the Hylands Teething Tablets. Amelia woke up at midnight last night crying and I changed her and tried to feed her - she didn't want to eat. So I thought maybe it was her teeth. I gave her two tablets and immediately she stopped crying and withing two minutes she was back asleep. Amazing!!! I'm totally giving them as baby shower gifts from now on.

Way to go Allie!, can you get some pictures??

Ana had teeth buds at 2 months, then at 6 months, bam, 4 teeth, I was so proud, a litle nervous of the whole breastfeeding but proud!
