I had my ultrasound yesterday. Turns out I was measuring so far ahead because my baby is transverse AND back down. This is a very unusual position and it means we cannot even attempt to turn the baby. My cord is below the baby too which is very dangerous if my water breaks. I have to call 911 if I go into labor at any time.
So, I went back to my OB today and we are going to be having a baby in about 3 weeks! I can't believe it! I am excited but also nervous because it is so close now.
I will have an amnio in 2 weeks to check lung development and we will go from there. My doctor said unless things change, we will have a baby before the end of the year.
I'm still on bedrest but he has modified it so I just have to be sitting with my feet up. I will go for monitoring twice a week starting this Sunday.
DH is going to completely finish the nursery this weekend too so we can be ready to go.
Anyone want to update for me when the time comes?

You get to take your kid as a dependant for the whole year. 
That's exciting. I'm not a good person to update for you since I never know when I'll be online and will probably only have 1 hand. Ihope your LO's lungs are developed at the amnio time.

Sorry about the news but I hope all goes well. One good thing....you will get to claim Connor for the year of 2009, so ya'll will probably get extra $$ from taxes!!!

Wow, Karen. That's a lot to take in, but I am sure glad he allowed you to sit with your feet up--that is wonderful. I can't believe your baby will be here so soon.
