I'm really struggling with this... Its like, one minute I'll feel like running a 5k marathon - so I'll put some dishes away or something, and then need an hour long nap just to do anything else! My energy seems to come and go so unpredictably... When did it level off for you girls?

I think it was around 12 weeks for me. I was thankful for my commute cause I would sleep on the train in the morning and in the evening... around 3pm I was always ready to sleep.
I wouldn't say that it's back - but it's not like it was.. no way!
You'll get through it!

I'm still waiting & I'm almost 9 months PP No, just kidding (sort of!). I think it got better in the 2nd trimester & then it gets much worse in the 3rd. Although I worked up until 2 days before I went into labor & everyone always thought I looked so refreshed & energetic even though I didn't feel like it!

For me the 2nd trimester was like a light switch!!! I went from throwing up for 12 weeks and feeling very sleepy, to little Miss ENERGY! I can TOTALLY see why they call it the "honeymoon" of pregnancy! I was full of energy and was a nesting fool!!! Then, the 3rd trimester came and I felt exhausted again, but not quite the same exhaustion as the 1st tri.

I wasn't too tired during the first and second trimesters; however I have made up for it during the 3rd trimester!

Week 13 for me and it lasted until around 34ish weeks. I would definitely say, though, that even when it returned it wasn't what it felt like not being pg.

It'll come back in your second tri, around 12/13 weeks. And take advantage of that, because when you hit the 3rd tri, you'll feel like you were hit by the fat bus and you'll be exhausted again!

Oh yes, I so remember those days. I remember coming home from work and being entirely TOO tired to even make dinner so I would eat a bowl of cereal and go to bed at like 7pm...seriously!!! I wish I could go to bed at 7pm now!!!!

For me it wasn't until about 21 weeks. I was really sick from 6 weeks to 16 weeks so I think I had a relatively worst case scenario. Hopefully it won't take that long for you, though. And yeah, I agree with the other BTDTs - I feel back in the first tri now! Although thankfully I'm not puking my guts out! LOL!

Oh Cheryl, I am right there with you!! I have been going to bed around 9 lately, and by then I'm totally exhausted! Mid-afternoon, I desperately want to take a nap.
My DH doesn't want to start planning the nursery or doing anything until 12 weeks. At first I was disappointed, wanting to at least do a few things earlier, but now I'm not sure where I would find the energy.
Can't wait for the 2nd Tri!
