I have a crochet pattern for a mesh beanie hat with a bow. (I saw your post in my thread about the bows). It's super cute and it has directions for booties, too. I'll see if I can attach the pdf to a pm later and I'll send it to you. I know how to knit scarves so I figured this wouldn't bee too much more difficult. And I have a knitting studio near my workplace so if I have questions I'm going to go ask them.
