I cant believe how long its gotten too! Part of me likes it but its becoming alot of work. I would LOVE to be able to donate it, but I dont think its long enough, as id have to cut it really short and I didnt want to go that short. Hmmm ill have to see. I just cant decide what to do with it, I need something cute, but something that wont make me cry after its already chopped off HAHA. Anyway, thanks Brandi!

I think you need 10 inches to donate...so I think you have enough! I have no ideas either, but your hair is beautiful. it really just needs some layers or something because its not unhealthy looking at all!

Since you want to keep the length, what about cutting your hair to the shortest layer (the one that goes to the end of your shirt sleeve in the pic) and then layering the rest? Nothing too drastic but it may do the trick to make you feel less frumpy. Oh how I can relate to feeling frumpy. I haven't cut my hair in over a year.

It's 10 inches....which isn't as much as you think!!

Maybe just long layers and angled around your face????

Maybe something like this....with or w/out bangs, but I think you get the idea??? It doesn't have to be as "choppy" as it it in this pic.....

Ohhh interesting, I thought you needed 12 inches to dontate. Do they base the 10 inches ff your longest point of hair? Because I have some layers.

I was thinking of doing like Karly said, and cutting it up to my shortest layer, the one up to my sleeve in the pic above, BUT if cutting 10 inches wouldnt be too short for me then im going to consider it...I may cry though LOL.

Brandi, the pic you posted isnt showing.

I love visuals girls, so if you find a cute pic, post it! I can figure out the length, but can never figure out the style.

Your hair is so beautiful! I was thinking what Karly said too, but I'm not stylish at all and am horrible at picturing things too lol

This is actually the first pic that comes up when I put in long layers into google, and I love it!

I'm not much help considering I gave myself my last haircut.

I don't know much about straight hair. Would layers work well if your hair is that long? I think it's a good idea if they work well like that. I think a razor cut would look good on you, but it would probably be a lot shorter than you want and the person doing it really has to know what he/she is doing or you'll end up with an
80's cut.

Hmm this was the pic. Like I said, it was just the first I saw, I loved a bunch just by putting in "long layers" into google images.

I have a cut tomorrow too I'll look in some books while I'm waiting

I absolutely LOVE Hilary Swank's hair in P.S. I Love You, and it seems pretty easy to maintain. I based my own haircut on it, but made some modified requests when I went in. (she's the brunette in case you didn't know )

I think layers would be super cute. You need more oomph and razor cut to your hair.
Good luck!

Thanks for all the help girls. I have such a hard time making decisions so this is hard for me being that my hair has gotten so long and its hard for me to cut it now. It really needs something though.

I like Karly's idea of cutting it about as short as your shortest layer right now and then layering the rest. I think that would look really cute on you

My hair was getting super long too, and I just couldn't take the upkeep anymore. So last week I chopped it to just below my shoulders. No good advice for you though because I didn't do any layers or anything. I just went one length straight across. It's so much healthier now though!

I don't mind! These are a little more flippy at the end than I usually do, but it was the day I had it done by the hairstylist. I haven't taken one when I've completely straightened it.

Here's one from the last time I had a similar haircut
