DH & I went to a wedding on Saturday & Allie was invited too It was her first wedding & she was a star! She didn't cry once & everyone commented on how good she was. She was happy to sit on our laps, flirting with everyone & chewing on carrot sticks!
We had that terrible blizzard that day/night & driving home was a disaster. We had to stop at a hotel about 10 exits from home because it was too hard to see the roads. I think she loved it & was totally fascinated with everything. Even funnier, apparently one of the Jonas Brothers got married nearby & all of their guests were at our hotel & I think the JBs as there were lots of little girls in the lobby going back & forth. We didn't know what all the commotion was until the next day. Too bad it wasn't anyone we'd like
On the way home, we saw cars buried under snow on the side of the expressway not to mention big trucks & buses. My car is still buried so I had to drop dh off at work, Allie at daycare & take DH's car to work. Apparently we got just over 2' of snow
So here's Allie's first wedding, snowstorm, & hotel stay all in one
Before heading out (next to our fake, Charlie Brown Christmas tree...DH vetoed a real tree as he was afraid Allie would be into all the needles & sap)
With Daddy
Her & that carrot
Sitting like a little lady in the high chair...yeah right
Daddy's girl
That carrot makes an appearance again! LOL (uh oh...when I corrected our red eye, I think something happened to my "neighbor's" mouth...he definitely doesn't look like Charlie Chaplin IRL )
Family picture
Playing in the hotel room
View from our hotel room
Relaxing after all that partying!
Time to leave! Definitely not sharing the one of me...I was wearing DH's sweatpants because he dropped my PJ's in the snow on the way in & I'm also wearing my glasses & no make up..yikes!!
Thanks for looking at the picture overload!

Cute pictures! I'm glad she was so good for you guys and had a great time both at the wedding and in the hotel. Hope you get your car out of the snow soon.

What wonderful pics! Allie looks so happy in each picture. I absolutely love the family picture at the wedding. Thats great she did so well at the wedding
I'm so glad you guys stayed at a hotel that night... I was thinking of you that night while looking at the roads and knew it would be worse as you were heading home (my friends in Northport were telling me how rotten it was by them).

I LOVE her little dress! Such a cute family! And good thing you stopped at the hotel that night - I spent the night in the city and we got bombarded with snow. Can't even imagine how Queens and LI look right now.

Thanks everyone! Yeah, we really got hit hard. My coworker who lives in the next town over said he measured the snow to be 28" in his front yard

I was thinking of you too because I was hoping you wouldn't go into labor & have to trudge through the snow all the way to the hospital! So glad Eli stayed put (but he can come anytime now )

LOL! I was getting tons of phone calls that night from friends in LI telling me they hoped I wouldn't go into labor that night! But yes, I am definitely beyond hoping he comes anytime now!
