We are ntnp. I think I am safe! I mean, what are the odds? It's not like I have unexplained infertility, and even our RE said it can't happen on our own. Before we were ttc we were ntnp for 3 years and nothing happened. What do you gals think? I am tired of condoms and want to enjoy the "perks" to infertility!

Anyone else ntnp?

OMG he&& NO!!!!!!!!1 We are actively PREVENTING!!!! We do want another one, but not right now. Maybe when she's 18-24 months we will try. Good luck to ya. I've heard of too many people get prego right after they had one...even if they had trouble at first. Just a thought!!

Partly that's just to torture you (just kidding, of course). My OB said that sometimes being pregnant can resolve infertility issues, that doctors don't know if sometimes it 'resets' your body into a more typical pattern. We are NTNP about half of the time. . .typically because we don't want to stop long enough to get the condom.

We are preventing as well. It's tempting to NTNP, but I don't really want another right now. That'd be a bit too insane for me. Someone in my PR is prego again after 3 years of infertility for her kid born in Sept. You jsut never know.

I voted for a surprise baby too. My cousin had fertility issues for 2 years, decided to NTNP shortly after she had her baby and then she got pregnant on the next cycle. I wish you lots of luck

We started NTNP this month and I am worried I am pregnant. I haven't been feeling so well. My Dh has fertility problems and it took us almost a year to get pregnant with KP. So I felt pretty safe... We will see in a week

We don't want to go thru the heartache of TTC again (unless we don't have baby #2 by the time Zane is 3...then we'll go see a RE) So we're NTNP and have been since Z was born. BUt I don't think we'll get prego on our own. I want to. I want a BFP!!!!!

I voted surprise baby. I was told I couldn't have babies and tried with XH for years, then Cherie happened out of nowhere! Plus, it's not uncommon to see women who had problems with TTC the first time around getting pregnant easily the 2nd time around.

I will probably go to NTNP once baby is born...like many others, we have never used protection in our entire 5 month relationship (good old pull and pray method) I'm pretty sure that I won't get pg after the fact, since I couldn't get PG without Met.

But I guess you never know...

As much as i don't want to we'll be going back to using condoms once our LO arrives

Better than getting pregnant again though. I would go crazy having two that close!!

my sister was TTC for 2 years before she got pregnant with her daughter. Then she went on the pill after that until Olivia was 18 months. Then, she thought "it took me forever to get preggo the first time, I'll stop the pill and hope for a BFP in 6 months". She got pregnant the first time. I'm a firm believer in that you are seriously fertile after you have your first.
