In my DDC. I know they are all trying to be nice and helpful, but I keep getting PMs from girls saying that they were in the same situation and they ended up having ectopic or failed pregnancies. That is NOT helping me right now! This is all I can think about and I need a little positive thinking!

I go back to my OB on Wednesday. I am having no more cramps and only brown spotting when I wipe. The HCG levels just make me soooo nervous. I am just hoping and praying to see my little bean on that US on Wednesday morning!!

the longer we wait the more likely we will see something on the US if there is something to see. She said a week was appropriate.

Thanks girls. I know that things aren't looking 100%.. but I just can't believe that they would remind me every post of how things don't look good. Don't they think I know that??? Or else I wouldn't post about it! I know they are just trying to help... but it's not helping. I have to stay positive... because I know medically and in my heart there is still a little hope.

when I found out I was pregnant (after trying almost 2 years) I called my dr who told me he was worried b/c I had just had surgery and I may have a etopic pg but he was leaving in an hour to go out of town for a week...I started spotting this was almost 6 weeks so I freaked out that for sure it was over and I went to the hospital and the u/s tech told me that the baby was measuring at 4 weeks and there was no HB so I was really upset when my dr came back a few days later I was still spotting but didnt pass anything and my HCG level were still rising but not doubling so he gave me another U/S and he said we have a HB and he is ok...since then my pg has been very uneventful and my son is healthy and due in a few week....
Sorry this is long but I just wanted to let you know that there is a chance and also try and stay away from the pg related stuff that you know will make you upset that is what I did and tried to stay busy...easier said then done I know....

Thanks for that story! Encouraging stories make my day these days! I'm so glad your pregnancy has been uneventful since then. I hope and pray that this is what has happened with my baby and that either i'm off on my dates or he's just a little slow. My DH said... well he is related to my family. We were all a little slow when we started off!!! lol!!!

I'm sorry. After reading this i now realize you could take my post in your other thread as insensitive. I definitely was not trying to make you feel any worse (if that's what it did). I've definitely heard stories similar to yours where the pregnancy turns out just fine, i just feel i should be honest about my own story. There is always hope that everything is okay and i really hope you get that amazing news.
