Hello ladies! Quick question about Maternity jeans bec/ i got a GC to Old Navy and am thinking about getting a new pair... i have a few cheap pairs with the half panel that have been doing well for me so far but i'm wondering if at this point it would be wise for me to go up to the full panel? Old Navy reccomends the half for the whole time but i kind of think they're a little annoying and the pairs i have always fold down while i'm sitting... i don't think i'll be thrilled with how the whole tummy panel feels either but if its most comfy its what i'll go with? Or do some ladies just stick with the half panel the whole time?

Also how do ON jeans fit? These are the ones i'm looking at

Women's & Men's Clothes: Plus Size, Maternity, Baby & Kid's Clothing | Old Navy

It goes by actual sizes not S,M,L so should i just get what i was pre preg? Medium sized shirts are a little big so i wonder if pants will be the same... some of the reviews are great but the negative ones are saying they were too big and very long but i'm 5'8 so length isnt an issue

TIA!

I liked the full panel until I was about 32 weeks. Then I couldn't stand to have anything on my belly. So I would fold the full panel down under my belly. I found the half panels were too tight to wear under the belly at that point. But I'm all about comfort and don't like getting squeezed!

No idea about the ON sizes. Sorry!

I love the full panel pants. I always felt like the half panel ones gave me a muffin top which I did NOT like!! As for the sizes, to me Old Navy runs pretty big so go with what pre-pg size you are and try that. I know some Old Navy stores actually have maternity pants so you could always go and try some on before you order online. HTH!!

I don't think I had any maternity pants from ON...I bought 98% of everything at Motherhood, but I always preferred the full panel especially since I was heavily pregnant all winter. I felt like it helped keep my belly (and the baby!) warm I did have one half panel & they fit great, but for the most part all of my pants & jeans were full panel.

I had a pair of ON mat pants and they were the most comfortable pair of pants I owned throughout my pregnancy! The actual jean fit like regular jeans would (fitted on top and a bit of a flare at the bottom - the way I like them). They were half-panel and didn't really bother me too much. The only thing I didn't like about the half panel was that when you sit down, you can see the line of the panel underneath your shirt. I tended to just fold 'em down and they were still comfortable.

I just bought two pairs of ON maternity jeans. One is the real waist jeans that don't have any panel. These are perfect for me right now. I also got a pair of the full panel ones because i went when all jeans were $15 so i couldn't pass them up! They are really big because i guess my belly isn't big enough for them, so i just fold the panel down and wear my bella band with them and this has worked for me.

As for sizes, it depends on how you like them to fit.. loose or snug. I usually wear about a size 6 but the maternity jeans i got were size 2 & 4 (the size 4 is actually feeling a bit baggy after wearing them for awhile). So i guess they might be different sometimes? At least they are for me.

I didn't like the ON mat jeans when I tried them on. But, I already had a pair of the secret fit belly pant jeans and those were so comfortable I think that's why I didn't like the ON ones.

They sell the secret fits at Motherhood and Kohls. I've been wearing them the wholel time and like them because the panel is really thin and the jeans are stretchy.

I just ordered $160 yesterday from ON maternity....our store here does not carry maternity, but I'm having a hard time finding tall sizes in other maternity stores. I didn't get any jeans because they were all out of my size with tall length....but I got 5 pairs of work pants. They should arrive in about 5 days and if you want I'll let you know how those fit.
