Thank you all for your well wishes And a special thanks to Andrea for updating JM and posting his picture..Elijah Scott was born via c-section on Sunday, Dec 27, 2009 at 7:54pm. He was 7lbs 13oz, 20.5 inches. He got 9/9on his apgar. He's perfect in everyway! We're still in the hospital but will be going home Thursday morning.His birthday brings mixed feelings, as this day last year, I miscarried my first baby. I am trying to look at Eli's birthday as a gift from my angel.
Eli is wonderful with BFing. He got an immediate latch after i left recovery (from section) and he just seems so natural. I love BFing and am very excited as it seems like my milk is starting to come in. I will post my birth story hopefully tomorrow. Here are some pics!

He's SUCH a little cutie!!! You all look SO happy! What a GREAT apgar score, and that's wonderful he latched on so easily! Can't wait to hear your birth story!

Love those little chubby cheeks!! What a cutie! I agree that his birth and extreme health (a 9 apgar is fantastic, and good BFing after a C section is rare) are a gift from your angel, and I hope that it helps bring you a little peace knowing that your two children are linked in this special way. Congrats!!

Lynda you and Elijah are both just beautiful! I can't get over how good you look after giving birth! He is just adorable--all these newborn pictures make me miss my tiny baby. Keep up the good work with BF'ing. . . when your milk comes in adds a new challenge. but it sounds like you and Elijah can handle it.
