So I had my vaginal US yesterday to make sure my baby bean was still there and ok... but now I'm spotting dark red/ brown every time i pee. I have asked 42342 people about it and my OB even said it is normal to bleed/spot after a vaginal US or examination because your cervix is so sensitive during pregnancy. But... she wanted to do another US on Tues just to make sure things are measuring up... but I'm not sure I want her to if it's going to cause all of this. It makes me nervous even though I know it's normal. Has anyone else ever had this?

I don't think you should worry too much and doing the u/s is the only way to know if the bean is ok and the wand doesn't hurt the baby, it is up in your uterus and the radio waves are what travel to make the picture. Some women bleed after a pap smear so just try and remember that your body is extra sensitive right now

Yep i did.... and it got pretty heavy at one point i was sure i was m/cing but i wasnt

I don't think you should worry...it hasn't happened to me, but as people have said, your cervix is very sensitive...I'm just curious if your Dr. checked your progesterone?

I'm honestly not sure, but if you're worried I would recommend calling the on call dr. or something just to make sure! I hope all is fine and that it's completely normal!

No I get all my BW done on Tuesday. I'll mention checking it then to make sure it's not too low.

I had bleeding all day the day after my u/s this week too. I think it's pretty normal to have it.
